About Me

Gustavo Acosta
Photographer, Mountaineer, and Climber

I explore the heights of Colombia, turning every adventure into a visual story. Among snow‑capped peaks, sheer rock walls, and ever‑changing skies, I seek to capture the essence of nature and the human connection to it.

My images are not just about places—they convey the experience of being there: the chill in the air, the texture of the rock, and the vastness that reminds us how small, and how fortunate, we are.

My work is an invitation to discover, care for, and respect the ecosystems that surround us—from the summit ridge to the invisible details beneath our feet.
With over 10 years of experience as a photographer and 5 years documenting the heights of the Andes, my work has been featured in international outlets including Common Climber (USA), Planet Mountain (Italy), and Revista Desnivel (Spain).
